I came across this fine weapon, and was able to work out a trade with its owner. Its an S&W Performance Center .460. The second pic is a comparison between it and my Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag. I never thought I'd own a pistol that made my .44 mag seem small.

Curt, that deserves wtg wtg wtg wtg at least 4 thumbs up. I gots me one them puppies and it is a hoot. Dont much stand in the way of it. Just curosity thou, what serial number you got. I got number 14 when they first came out, I put the matching box of ammo up thou, did not want to shoot it. Hang on to it now, cause it has a touch of thump.

Its # 172. I saw that pic of you with yours and a deer, pretty cool. Matching ammo? Didn't know they came with that. What makes it matching? I have to admit I can't wait to hunt with it, I have been Range limited for so long hunting with a .44 that this will be a good change.

S&W only made 500 of these and the first 250 I do know were issued with a box of Hornady Ammo that had the same serial number on it as the pistol, that was the matching ammo thing.

I have mine sighted in at 3 inches high at 100 which cares it out to 200 around 3 inch low. Which is about as far as I want to shoot a wheel gun anyway.

It is a monster and when as folks say, ' Whip that puppy out' it gets some attention. Be sure to get it the WHOLE thing out side of the shootin' house when hunting before ya' touch it off, if not it is kinda loud in there with ya'
