When are your hunts?
We hunt every
weekend throughout our hunting seasons. The reason for weekend
hunting is simple, more time. Most of the hunters we know work or go to
school during the week. So this makes for a great weekend trip.
What type of hunts are
available?
We have a variety of
species to hunt. Our main animal is the Black-tail Prairie Dog. This
rodent (commonly know as) is in a vast abundance. Most, if not all of
the shooting is done via our mobile shooting trailer. It gives the
shooter better vantage point.
Other hunts available are Coyote, Dove and Quail. Coyotes' as elusive as
they are, have been seen and heard in the area. The dove population is
quite high starting into the 2004 season. Quail population is on a slow
rise.
What
is the 'DOG SLED' ?
The 'Dog Sled' is our custom built mobile shooting
trailer. We built the Dog Sled with the shooter in mind. It incorporates
a 20ft long x 38 inch wide padded/carpeted shooting bench, Roll around
office style chairs, and a very effective roll over tarp. The bench also
gives the shooter a great vantage point for spotting dogs, it is
elevated 7 ft from the ground.
The 'Dog Sled' is the probably the largest mobile
shooting bench around.
